A safe space to report potential non-compliance and contribute to regulatory compliance.

As a tool for the prevention and detection of non-compliance, Grupo Central Lechera Asturiana makes this Ethics Channel available to its members and third parties.

Grupo Central Lechera Asturiana expresses its firm commitment to ethical culture and regulatory compliance, rejecting any conduct that does not conform to the ethical standards established in the Organization and adopting the necessary measures to ensure compliance with current legislation and the prevention of crimes.

Through the use of the Ethics Channel, regulatory violations or unethical conduct, allegedly criminal acts, serious or very serious administrative infractions, as well as any breach of European Union Law identified in Grupo Central Lechera Asturiana may be reported.

The channel may not be used for communications other than the expressly indicated non-compliance, nor for those for which there are other specific channels or responsible parties, with false communications, those based on motivations not supported by Law, and those made with the sole purpose of causing harm being inadmissible.

The Ethics Channel is not the means to address inquiries regarding our products or services. For this purpose, the companies that form Grupo Central Lechera Asturiana have consumer service departments available through the “Contact” section on the websites of each of our brands, or by telephone, through the consumer service number visible on the labeling of all our products.

The Channel allows, through the form that opens when accessing it, to make your report anonymously or confidentially, guaranteeing, in any case, the protection of whistleblowers against any type of retaliation.

The processing of communications made through the Ethics Channel will comply with the following essential principles:

  • Once you make your report, whether anonymously or confidentially, we will send you an acknowledgment of receipt of the same within a maximum period of 7 days.
  • The Responsible Party for the Internal Information System and the Ethics Channel is the Compliance Committee of CAPSA FOOD. However, the Group manages externally the communications received through this Channel, which will be received and processed by our legal advisor VACIERO S.L.P., so that in no case will there be a conflict of interest on the part of the members of the Supervisory body.
  • The reported facts will give rise, where appropriate, to the corresponding internal investigation, which will be carried out with all the guarantees of confidentiality, secrecy, and protection of the whistleblower. The internal investigation that is conducted will also maintain due respect for the presumption of innocence and honor of the persons affected by it.
  • You will be informed of the completion of the investigation. However, neither the result of the same nor the measures that the company adopts based on that result in relation to the affected persons will be subject to disclosure. Such measures will be processed directly with the competent authorities.
  • It is guaranteed that communications made through the communications channel will not give rise to any type of retaliation or actions against the whistleblower, in the terms provided for in Law 2/2023, of February 20, on the protection of persons who report regulatory violations and the fight against corruption.
  • Communications that exceed the scope of application of the Law, those that are manifestly false, manipulated, or those that respond to motivations that the Law cannot support will not be covered by the aforementioned protection. In this regard, Grupo Central Lechera Asturiana warns that such acts may result in criminal or civil liabilities, as well as disciplinary ones, in the terms contemplated in the current legal system.
  • We inform you that you may request a personal interview with the Compliance Committee. In such case, we inform you that in said personal interview anonymity cannot be maintained, guaranteeing maximum confidentiality and secrecy.

Without prejudice to this internal channel, we also inform you that the different competent authorities and, where appropriate, institutions, bodies, or agencies of the European Union have communication channels through which they receive communications regarding non-compliance that falls within the scope of their competence.
